It’s All Downhill in Maui

I will take a cruise on a bicycle, and enjoy a spectacular Maui bicycle tour from the top of Haleakala volcano (el. 10023 ft) without even having to peddle. I will be riding on the rim, coasting 38 miles downhill on smooth winding blacktop all the way to the blue Pacific. It's 100% downhill, and 100% fun!

Hans Hedemann, a professional surfer, joined the ASP (Association of Surfing Professionals) right after he graduated high school and has won many prestigious competitions. Placing first in The Billabong Pro in Australia and the Gunston 500 in South Africa, he was also the first professional surfer to win back-to-back ASP world events. I will learn the basics of surfing, ride some waves, and hopefully our instructor has patience! With the cool sea breezes gently gracing my skin and sparkling blue water’s brilliance supporting my feet, I will experience exhilaration, true bliss, and the true meaning of surfing!
